Kareena to play ‘Poo’ again from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’?

Undoubtedly, Kareena Kapoor is  Bollywood’s diva par brilliance. The 38-year-old actress still oozes class with her flawless beauty and grace. She is one of those exceptional actresses who will be completing two decades in the industry and still getting lead and powerful roles. Now, Bebo, as she is fondly called, could be playing her iconic character of ‘Poo’ again.

Karan Johar‘s production house is planning to build content on the OTT platform and it includes a web series with a central character of ‘Poo!’ It is interesting to note that the role will be an extension of her character and it will be relevant to the current times. For those who are unaware, Kareena had played this character in KJo’s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ way back in 2001.

A source close to the production house reveals that the project will be made for a major OTT platform. The show revolves around her character ‘POO’ from K3G and the makers will have a modern-day take on the character. There has been a lot of talk about the character on social media and therefore it has some really amazing prospects.

Kareena Kapoor is a performer, who likes to challenge herself. And it would be awesome for the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress to play this cult character yet again.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena has finished shooting for her project ‘Good News’ opposite Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. ‘Good News’ is being directed by Raj Mehta and will be releasing on September 6, 2019. The mommy of Taimur Ali Khan also has Karan Johar‘s directorial venture ‘Takht’
