Zeenat Aman honoured with DCSAFF lifetime achievement award

The Indian American philanthropist Frank Islam honoured the 65 year old Bollywood Diva Zeenat Aman with lifetime achievement award for her immense contribution in the field of cinema at the DC South Asia Film Festival (DCSAFF)..

While accepting the award at the conclusion of the sixth annual film festival, ZXeenat seems to have said that the evening was exceptionally memorable.
Islam praised the veteran actor for inspiring women across all ages through her performances on the silver screen.

Islam in his key note address at the awards ceremony said, “Zeenat, you defined girlhood and womanhood for generations of South Asians. Young and old alike cried when you cried on screen, and they laughed when you laughed.
The event also saw Zeenat’s son, Azaan Khan, being recognized with the rising star director award for his upcoming film “Bankster”, which features Naseeruddin Shah.
