T’wood critic served notice for derogatory comments on Hindu Gods

The comments made by a tollywood critic Kathi Mahesh on Hindi gods Rama and Sita in a private Telugu Channel has not gone down well with a Bajrang activist who has filed a complaint with the Banjara Hills Police Station.  In the complaint he has said that the comments are derogatory and hurts the sentiments of the Hindu community.

Mahesh was summoned to the police station as part of the enquiry and after interrogation, he was  served with  a notice under CrPC 41 and has been asked  to appear in the police station whenever needed..
A case was registered under section 295-A and 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
Investigation in the matter is underway.
