Netflix announces second season of ‘Sacred Games’

Overwhelmed by the pounding success of the India’s first Netflix original series ‘Sacred Games’, which released earlier this year, as per n announcement  Second season has been confirmed by the producers.

While in the original, Saif Ali Khan took centre stage playing Sikh cop Sartaj Singh. Netflix the second season picks up from Sartaj Singh pursuing his relentless battle of saving the city with Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) facing bigger challenges to retain his position as the legendary kingpin of Mumbai. The intriguing Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi), introduced in season one as Gaitonde’s third father, plays a pivotal role in unfolding a chain of events that shape the next season”.

Netflix have been overwhelmed with the response the series received and therefore it seems a second season was something that they simply had to do.

Alongside Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Karan Wahi and a whole host of others featured in the series.
